Miten saan Gimp 2.10 on 2.8

Minulla on Ubuntu 16.04 Mate.
Olen koittanut päivittää Gimp 2.8 -> 2.10, mutta ei vaan onnistu noilla ohjeilla mitä on saatavilla !

gimp is already the newest version (2.8.22-0x0~ppa)

Hmm, Ubuntu 16.04:n perusversiossa Gimp 2.10 löytyy suoraan Sovellusvalikoimasta. Eikö Maten ohjelmistonhallintasovellus sitä löydä?

Nyt löysin vastauksen. Sitä ei ole päivitetty 16.04 eli pitää odotella 18.04 versiota.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gimp

not upgrading to GIMP 2.10, still installs GIMP 2.8

Take note of all your plugins for re-installation after installing v2.10.
Proceed to purge v2.8 and all currently installed plugins.
Note: Do all this before adding the repository!
Add the add-apt-repo > apt update > apt install v2.10. Should work without a hitch

Tried and failed. My OS is Elementary OS Loki, based on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS (Xenial Xerus), that’s maybe the reason for not upgrading to 2.10.

Sisäisten riippuvaisuuksien takia 2.10:sta ei saa  16.04:seen.
