Jatkoin tuosta sitten omin päin, omin käsin...

Syy koneeni sekaisuuteen oli kokonaan omani. Olin lataillut yhtä ja toista sieltä ja täältä. Pitää jatkossa noudattaa pidättyväisyyttä.

olin kypsä siivoamaan pöydän uudelleenasennuksella

Varmuuden maksimoimiseksi kannattaa tehdä nimenomaan puhdas asennus - ja lopettaa päätön "virittely". Vaikka Linux parempi systeemi (joo joo, en ala erittelemään) onkin kuin maksulliset käyttikset niin kyllä käyttäjä on pahin uhka toimimattomuudelle.

Jos ei mitään erittäin tärkeää ole koneella tai niitä on vähän ja saat ne talteen niin pyyhi kone tyhjäksi uudella asennuksella. Niin minä tekisin.

Se on Artec T14BR (antenniverkko) ja minun onnella ei toiminut lennossa. Kokeilin muutama viikko sitten. Nyt ei se tikku ole tässä äärellä, viikonloppuna on.

Tökkäsin koneen kupeeseen kiinni ja Kaffeine ilmoitti:" Can't bind info socket"

Kaffeine setup:

ja valipsipa ok tai apply: can't bind info socket!

Mistä pitäisi alkaa? Ja jos menee pipariksi kuinka palautan koneen nykytilaan?

Eikös tuo ole Digi TV:n vastaanotto lähiverkosta? Eli ei suoranaisesti mitään tekemistä tuon ongelmasi kanssa. Sen voi siis ottaa pois käytöstä.

Kun laitat tikun kiinni ja käynnistät kaffeinen niin onko noissa "alkuvalinoissa" digitvtä? Kanavien viritys löytyy Digitv-valikosta.

BTW: Kaffeinen saat suomeksi asentamalla paketit: language-pack-kde-fi-base ja language-pack-kde-fi

Jo kääntyi suomeksi. Mutta sitä digi tv:tä ei alku valikoissa näy.

Minun malkasilmään ei pistä Artecia hyväksyttynä eikä uutta firmwarea. Koeta vielä niitä foorumin ohjeita oikein sydämellä. Toivottavasti saat pelittään.
