debian8 wifi ei toimi [ratkaistu]

ostin uuden koneen ja asensin siihen debian8:n, kaikki toimii muuten mutta wifiä en saa toimimaan, ei löydä ilmeisesti koko wifi korttia, ulkomaan palstoilla samaa ongelmaa oli ratkottu mutta ei ne mulla toimineet, kone on acer aspire E%-575G-33FE alempana tulostetta lshw:llä ja jotain muuta

Näyttää lähinnä siltä ettei firmware-tiedostoa löydy. Hyvin tyypillinen ongelma Debianissa wifi-korttien kanssa. Ilmeisesti tuota firmwarea ei löydy Jessiestä (Debian 8 ), mutta sidin paketissa saattaisi olla: https://packages.debian.org/fi/sid/firmware-atheros

Tuolla kortilla on sellainen "kiva" ominaisuus, ettei sillä lainkaan voi muodostaa linuxin puolella WPA/WPA2-salattua yhteyttä vanhoihin tukiasemiin, mutta uudempiin tukiasemiin yhteyden muodostus WPA/WPA2-salauksen kera onnistuu kyllä.
