Sellainen pieni bugi serveri versiossa, että ilman kiinteää nettiyhteyttä Ubuntu alkaa käyttämään /etc/init/failsafe.conf tiedoston asetuksia, ja käynnistykseen tulee parin minuutin viive. Asia on kuitenkin helppo korjata, laittaa vain risuaidat # kommenteiksi kyseisen tiedoston sleep kohtiin.

"Nopea /etc/init/failsafe.conf tiedosto". Lisätyt risuaidat # ovat merkitty punaisella.
