pieni murhe päällä.
vajaan vuoden vanha aspire 1830TZ läppäri jossa win7 omalla osiolla ja sitten asennettu 10.04.3 suomi remix
koneeseen joutui asentaan vain wlan ajurin jälkeenpäin muistaakseni muut toimi heittämällä.

kaikki oli hienosti kunnes piti käydä vintoussin puolella ja saada kommarista siirrettyä kuva muistitikulle.
vahingossa ensin valitsin sen vista loaderin vaikkei vistaa ole koneessa.
ehdotti uudeelleen asennusta tai palautusta poistuin valikosta mitään ei tehty.

käynnistin uudeleen koneen jolloin ubuntu ei käynnisty antaa alla olevan ilmoituksen näyttöön
ilmeisesti nyt menossa tuo wait tila kestääkö montakin viikkoa.

jos saan live levyllä kopioitua aineiston usb kovalevylle voisin viikonloppuna asentaa ubuntun uusiksi.

vai onko tuohon jokin niksi
eikös jossain ollut maininta ettei nykykone tarvi swappia kun muistia on kuiteskia 3Gt koneessa

jos live levyllä voi jotain tehdä niin voin sen poltella levylle.

usb asema nyt käytössä

ubuntu 10.04.3 suomi remix levyllä katselen ubuntun puolta ja mitään talletettuja tiedostoja ei näy mikä hieman huolestuttaa.

jotenkin pitäisi korjata tuo swap ja home mounttaus ilmeisesti.

läppärillä oli alunperin win7 ja windoussin työkalulla tehtiin oma osio ubuntun asennusta varten.
asennus oli ns. puhdas asennus ja sujui ilman murheita. ja on toiminut hienosti.

Live levyllä kun klikkaa ubuntu osiot joissa olisi talteen saatava informaatio ne ns. mounttautuu työpöydälle ihan ok.

kaikki se data jonka olen tallentanut esim. työpöydälle ja asiakirjakansioon (oletus kansio) ei näy.

ilmeisesti kaikki on nyt jemmassa lost+found kansioiden sisällä
kansion avaamisoikeuksia ei ole live levyllä suoraan oikeudet ei riitä

kaikki ubuntu kansiot ja rakenteet on tallella.

Tuoltahan heti nähdään, että jostain kumman syystä sulla on UUID:t pielessä. (en kyllä ymmärrä miksi ne olisivat vaihtuneet tai mitään).

Ota varmuuskopio siitä sda6:n etc/fstabista ja sitten muokkaa sinne blkid:n antamat UUID:t.
Eli tuossa kommenttirivillä näkyy osio (esim. /homelle se on /dev/sda7) ja sitten vaihdat sen alla olevan UUID:n ylempänä olevan blkid:n tulosteen mukaiseksi (tässä tapauksessa d07359fc-8580-4ce1-b256-27e0376b1f75).

 root on omistaja fstab tiedostossa ja en pääse sitä muokkaan.

terminaalissa laitoin sudo su ja olen root tilassa

mutta ei vaikuta kun uudelleen avaa graafisesti fstabin gedit ohjelmalla.

live levyltä käsin olen muokkausta tekemässä.

pääte alkeita lueskelen et pääsis live levyltä tuonne  etc kansioon.

olen nyt suoraan koneella ei live levyltä käsin.

En osaa suoraan sanoa/arvata tuota, mutta yleisesti ottaen näet sen esim. komennon " df " antamasta listasta. Siitä näet sarakkeesta, äärimmäisenä oikealla, "Mounted on" polun johon levy on mountattu.

Esim. se voisi teoriassa olla " /media/levy1" , tällöin " /etc  " hakemisto löytyisi paikasta "/media/levy1/etc"

Ehkä tämä selventää?

Edellinen edellyttäen että levy on mountattu - voi olla, että sinun pitää valita se levy ensin, jotta se tulee mountatuksi.

Voit myös hakea sen hakemiston "filemanagerilla" Nautiluksella, ja raahata sieltä hakemiston Terminaaliin (Päätteeseen). Raahaus tapahtuu ylänauhan hakemiston napista.

Ensinnäkin, se oikea /etc/fstab ei ole tuossa polussa vaan jollain kiintolevyn osiolla.

Toiseksi jos siirryt rootiksi (esim. sudo su komennolla), niin et voi avata graafisia ohjelmia. Siksi tee ennemmin näin:
