Asensin koneeseeni (Ubuntu 10.04) videokaappauskortin
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.17848ja ajatuksena on käyttää Zoneminder ohjelmaa.
Asensin sen ohjeen
http://viktorpetersson.com/2010/05/23/how-to-install-zoneminder-1-24-2-on-ubuntu-10-04-lts-server/mukaan.
Kun avaan Zoneminderin asetuskonsolin, kohta source on punaisena, eikä kuvausta voi käynnistää.
Kokeilin xawtv ohjelmalla josko kuva näkyisi. Koneen bootin jälkeen näkyy mustavalkoinen kuva, mutta se häviää jos avaan xawtv:n uudelleen. Samoin hiiren oikealla korvalla tuleva asetusvalikko näyttää puutteelliselta.
