PCI-väyläinen USB2.0-ohjainkortti.

Ostin taannoin Sunixin USB2.0-ohjainkortin (USB4212), joka ainakin valmistajan tietojen mukaan pitäisi olla Linux-yhteensopiva (http://www.sunix.com.tw/it/en/Product_Detail.php?cate=2&class_a_id=34&sid=336). Jotenkuten homma toimiikin, ja esimerkiksi Logitechin WebCam tunnistui ja toimi kortin kautta, mutta USB2.0:aa tukevat massamuistilaitteet (kokeilin iPodia ja PSP:tä) eivät toimi. Ko. laitteet kuitenkin tunnistuvat ja toimivat emolevyn yhteydessä olevien USB1.1-porttien kautta.

Osaisiko joku neuvoa mistä homma saattaisia kiikasta, tai sitten suosittaa jotain toista ohjainkorttia, joka todistetusti toimii Ubuntussa (käytössä Dapper Flight 7). Alla kernelin lokia:

en jaksanut nyt äkkiseltään lueskella tuota logia, mutta yksi juttu mistä homma voisi kiikastaa on se, että usb2-ajureita ei olisi ladattu.

ladattuja moduleita pitäisi olla ainakin ohci_hcd tai uhci_hcd usb1.x:lle riippuen usb-piirin toteuttajasta ja usb2:lle pitäisi ladattuna olla ehci_hcd. jos tuo viimeinen puuttuu, niin ei usb2 voi toimiakaan.

tosin, kyllä noiden laitteiden pitäisi kaiken järjen mukaan toimia tuolla kortilla usb1.x-tilassa.

jos homma ei ollut tuostakaan kiinni, niin laita tänne vielä mitä komento lspci tulostaa.
