No näyttäishän tuo direct renderin olevan päällä, joten vika ei liene ainakaan 3d-kiihdytyksen puutteessa. Lähinnä huomio kiinnittyy tähän:

Nvidianko sivulta ne ajurit hait, vai asentelitko suoraan ubuntun repoista? Voihan ongelma olla tietysti myös ET:n konffeissa. Oletko kokeillut säätää grafiikka-asetuksia? Tuleeku kuva siis "joustamalla" perässä, vai niin, että se lähtee liikkumaankin vasta 5 s hiiren liikkeen aloittamista?

OK. Käynnistitkö tämän jälkeen X:n eli graafisen tilan (tai vaikka koko koneen) uudestaa?

Itse en lähtisi niitä ajureita hakemaan nvidialta, etenkin kun kyseessä ei ole mikään täysin uusinta huutoa oleva kortti ja uusimman mahdollisen version saamisella tuskin saavutetaan mitään etua. Repoista asennettuna ajurit päivittyvätkin automaattisesti ilman lisätyötä.

Katso onko sinulla paketti nvidia-glx asennettuna (vaikka synapticilla). Katso myös, mitä tulostavat kokonaisuudessaan glxinfo ja cat /etx/X11/xorg.conf

ET taitaa ottaa shotin painamalla F11. Kuvan pitäisi löytyä hakemistosta ~/.etwolf/etmain/screenshots/ tai ~/.etwolf/etmain/demos/ tms.

käynnistin X:n uudestaan.. ja sit ku toi kerneli päivitty niin piti koko kone käynnistää uusiks..

Näyttäisi olevan ainakin muutenkin noi asetukset käyttöjärjestelmän puolesta ihan kunnossa. Vika siis lienee itse pelissä.

Eipä tuo mitään. En kyllä tajua, miten ruudunkaappauksesta yleensäkkään voisi jotain selvitä, jos kerran ongelma on vain liikkeen hitaudessa.

Mutta ei kai vika ole liian suuressa pingissä (näkyy serverilistassa jokaisen serverin kohdalla, sekä itse pelissä painamalla <tab> ja katsomalla oman nimen kohdalta)? Entä jos käynnistät pelin omalla koneella (AltGr+^ -> aukeaa konsoli -> sinne komennetaan vaikkapa map oasis (tai sitten jostain valikoista)), onko ongelmaa?
