Xubuntun näyttöongelma [ratkaistu]

Eli kirjautumisen jälkeen Xubuntu aukeaa normaalisti mutta muutaman sekunnin kuluttua menee takaisin kirjautumisikkunaan. Olen kokeillut komentoa "sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" tuloksetta. Eikä apua ollut myöskään siitä, että annoin Xubuntun tehdä itse asetukset. Nyt ei tule enää sitä ilmoitustakaan mistä voi valita tekeekö itse asetukset vai antaa Xubuntun tehdä ne.

Ei toimi muillakaan kerneleillä ja tuota mainitsemaasi kerneliä ei näy grubissa. Uusin kernel (se mitä olen käyttänytkin) on 2.6.27-9-generic.

Periaatteessa riittää (pitäisi) kun muutat muutaman asetuskansion nimeä, joku xfce:n sielunelämään paremmin tutustunut??

Tutustumisen arvoisia kansioita on ~/.config/xfce4/ ja ~/.gnome2/

Tee varmuuskopio kaikista kotikansion piilotiedostoista. jonka jälkeen poista vanhat.

Kun kuitenkin toisella tunnuksella toimii kaikki, niin loogisesti ajatellen, asetustiedostot on vioittuneet.

Ei auttanut, ainoa muutos oli, että taustakuva ja conky muuttuivat.

Tuo oli odotettavaa, sillä poistit niiden .asetukset (otit toivottavasti sen varmuuskopion kuten sanoin)

Mitä seuraava palauttaa, jos ei mitään, niin pelkkä dmesg tuloste.
Koodia: [Valitse]
dmesg | grep -i segfaultMielellään vaikka pastebinit palveluun niin helpompi lukea.

Seuraavaa voi myös kokeilla

mv ~/.config/xfce4-session/xfce4-session.rc ~/.config/xfce4-session/xfce4-session.rc.oldUudelleen kirjautuminen.

Tuo looppaus olisi kyllä osviittaa ajuriviasta, mutta kun se edelleen pelaa toisella käyttäjällä.
Uudelleen asennus ei ole tarpeellinen, voit kyllä luoda uuden käyttäjän jolle antaa admin oikeudet.
