Millainenkohan sen pitäisi olla 5.10:lle kun en saa
millään asennettua acroreadia enkä javaa enkä
mplayeriä jne. Kopioin sen jostain ulkolaiselta sivulta
 mutta ei siellä löydy noita.Eli olisiko jollain antaa
toimivan listan malli?

Yksi mahdollisuus on lisätä sourceihin jotain muita repositioita, esimerkiksi vaikka vanhemman hoaryn repot, ja ladata sieltä.
tämä ei tietenkään ole suositeltavaa, ja jos näin lataat jonkun ohjelman, niin muista ehdottomasti poistaa kyseinen repo, tai lisätä # -merkin sen eteen ettei apt-get upgraden yhteydessä pistä koko konetta sekasin.

Parempi vaihtoehto on tietysti kääntää ohjelmat itse tai sitten vain odotella että joku antaa jonkun paremman ratkaisun ongelmaan

yleensä valmiiden listojen antaminen on huono idea, sillä ne vanhenevat verraten nopeasti (viimeistään siinä 6kk) ja koska tarpeet vaihtelevat eri käyttäjien välillä. poikkeuksellisesti laitan kuitenkin omani, joskin hitusen karsittuna:

Tämä sources.lits on ongelma joka kerta kun versio vaihtuu. Olisi helpompaa jos se pysyisi aina samana.

tuossa esimerkkilistauksessa cipherfunk on kommentoitu, koska se ei sisällä juuri mitään mitä muissa repoissa ei olisi  (oikeastaan vain epäviralliset versiot gstreamer-plugineista). tai ainakin tilanne oli tämä viimeeksi kun sitä katsoin. PLF kattaa miltei kaiken muun.

ei siellä kamalasti tavaraa ole, varsinkaan sellasita jota ei saisi muualta. kyllä minä sieltä jotain aikoinani asensin (ennen kuin löysin PLF:n), mutta ei se ole enää minullakaan käytössä.
