Mistä mahtaa johtua, että tiedostojen siirto on aivan älyttömän hidasta gaimilla?

Tiedosto kyllä lähtee tulemaan, mutta yksi biisikin kestää kaaaauan... :/

Käyttis on ubuntu 7.04... APUA?

ja sitte ku koitan laittaa noita työpöytätehosteita tuolta Järjestelmä->asetukset->työpöytätehosteet, ni tulee ruutuun ikkuna jossa lukee, Komposiitti-laajennusta ei ole käytettävissä.
mitä ihmettä pitää tehä!? :/ Näyttis on Ati Radeon 9800 XT.

Mutta jos haluat käyttää suljetun koodin ajuria,
mene järjestelmä -> ylläpito -> rajoitettujen ajurien hallinta ja siihen täppä että käytä rajoitettua ajuria tms. Sitten käynnistät koneen uudestaan ja sinulla pitäisi olla "uudet" ajurit käytössä.

Vaan eipä ole... tein juuri noin kun tossa on, sitte ku käynnistän GL Desktop ohjelman, ja koitan saada noita GL Desktop juttuja päälle, eli laitan ruksin siihen 'Enable GL Desktop' -kohtaan, ja suljen sen... sitte ku menen uudestaan siihen, ni se ruksi on hävinny... :/ Eli pitääkö mun nyt asentaa jotain ajureita vai mitä mun pitää tehä?! oon ihan kuitsilla tästä... :|

Laitealue / Pinnacle PCTV 110i ubuntuun?

Joo, elikäs mulla olis tollanen Pinnacle PCTV 110i kortti tuolla, mut mistä mahtaisin saada ajurit/softan, ku linuxille ei oikein tunnu löytyvän, kotisivuilta en ainakaan löytänyt ku windowsille, eikä ollu kortin mukana tulevalla cd:lläkään ku windowsille ajurit...

voisko joku jeesaa?

koitin käynnistää Google earthii... mut jää jumiin ja pääte huutaa et: Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":1.0".

Ubuntu tietokoneissa / Vs: Beryl ja Emerald Feistyssä

Mulla on sama ongelma!
Kun laitan berylin päälle niin nuo piennenä, suurenna ja sulje nappulat katoavat.
Mutta mulla onkin ruksi "Select window Decorator" -> Standard Beryl (Emerald) tuossa kohdassa.
Joten mikä avuksi?
