Tervehdys pitkästä aikaa. Onkin kaikki toiminut niin hyvin, mutta nyt tuli tenkkapoo...

Poltin Lubuntun asennuslevyn (Lidlestä ostettu Octron DVD+RW) lataamastani lubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso tiedostosta.

Asennusta yritettäessä tulee virheilmoitus:"Booting Kernel Failed Invalid Argument." Sama ilmoitus tulee,jos yrittää tarkistaa levyä.

Kone on kyllä kummallisesti sammahdellut aika ajoin aivan äkkiarvaamatta. Olen epäillyt jonkinlaista lämpenemisongelmaa, mutta että kiintolevy olisi hajoamassa...

Kyllä se levy on rikki. Uuden hankintaan. Jos tiedostoista ei ole varmuuskopioita niin ne kannattaa ottaa nyt. Jos niistä on jo, mutta ne eivät ole ajan tasalla, niin ei kannata kirjoittaa vanhojen yli.
