Eli asensin tuossa eilen Windows XP:n rinnalle uuden Ubuntu 9.04:n. Koneen käynnistäessä tulee tämä Grub bootloader mistä löytyy Ubuntu ja Windows XP vaihtoehdot. Kun valitsen Windows XP:n ensimmäisenä vilahtaa ruutu missä mainitaan "Acer eRecovery" (kone on siis Acer Aspire 9303 WSMi), jonka jälkeen tulee XP:n latauskuva ja sitten viesti "Fail to get partition 1 drive letter". Tekstin vierestä löytyy vain "OK"-nappi, jota painaessa kone käynnistyy uudelleen. Mitenköhän tämä korjataan?
Muissa foorumiviesteissä kysyttiin aina fdisk -l ja boot info scriptin tulokset, joten pistän ne tähän samantien:
