Elisa/Saunalahti tikku E 160E

Hello Everyone,

I hope you don't mind me writing in English.

I just arrived to Finland from the United States. I'm using a Saunalahti/Elisa broadband 3G stick model E160E with my laptop. My stick is made by Huawei.

However, I would rather like to use it with Ubuntu 10.04LTS. Can this be accomplished?

Also, I'm using the Ubuntu 10.04LTS Live CD. So I would like to make it work using Live CD.

It should work OOTB. After making the necessary settings via nm-applet
May have to click on network-manager twice to get it going.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm trying to find network manager but I seem not to have it on the 10.04LTS Live CD.

Does it go by another name? Or could this just be an informal translation into English?

Networkmanager resides on the upper-right corner on the notification area.
Right-click on the "mac style" icon, and edit connections.

If not able to find it.
Applications->Accessories->Terminal
