Firewire ongelma [ratkennut]

en pariin vuoteen ole dv-videokameralta siirtänyt dataa koneelle ja nyt tuli tarvis.
Liitin sonyn kameran firewire liittimeen samoin kuin pari vuotta sitten. Päätteeseen teksti: sudo dvgrab

en löytänyt firewireä, oletin kortin olevan rikki. Laatikossa oli vanhan koneen kortti, laitoin sen sisälle mutta sama tulos

Kokeilin taas eräänä iltana pitkästä aikaa. Yllätyksekseni kone löysi Firewire kortin, dvgrab ei kuitenkaan löytänyt kameraa. No jätin taas asian hautumaan ja tänään aloin uudelleen testaamaan.
sudo dvgrab käynnisti kameran toiston ja dataa alkoi tallentumaan kasetilta koneeseen. Eli kaikki nyt ok, en vaan tiedä miksi
