Käynnistä kone uudelleen. Kokeile sitten rimpsua

sudo dpkg --reconfigure -fToista kohtia 2-4 kunnes alkaa toimimaan.

Boottauksen jälkeen en saa yhteyttä palvelimeen ssh kautta. Juuri näin

Heips,

yrittelin tässä päivittää 7.04 -> 7.10 ja tein kuten http://wiki.ubuntu-fi.org/Paivittaminen ohjeessa mainittiin.

Päivitys lähti kiltisti eteenpäin kunnes antoi seuraavat virheet:

Tämän jälkeen kokeilin komentoa: do-release-upgrade ja sain vastaukseksi:

Noh, tämän jälkeen kun suoritan komennon dpkg --configure -a kuten aikaisemmin suositeltiin, antaa se taas saman virheilmoitus rimpsun kuin mitä tämän viestin alussa.

lsb_release -a komento antaa seuraavat tiedot:

Onkohan mitään tehtävissä? Mahdollista kenties palauttaa järjestelmää 7.04 tilaan?

Rootilla homma toimii moitteettomasti.

Mutta mutta...
Mihin on tietoturva unohdettu?
SSH:n yli ei saa koskaan sallia rootin kirjautumista!

Ei saakkaan, mutta kyseessä siis omassa verkossa oleva palvelin jonka kanssa leikin.

Sulla on varmaan joku minimalistinen shelli käytössä (dash tms.) kokeileppa käyttäjänä ajaa chsh komento ja valitse esim. bash.

Jes, homma lähti toimimaan kun muutin arvon: /bin/bash

Ubuntu tietokoneissa / SSH ongelma[TAB-täydennys ei toimi] [Ratkaistu]

Heips,

toivottavasti tulee oikealle alueelle.

Ongelmana on seuraava:
Palvelimessa jyllää uusin Ubuntu ja SSH palvelin ohjelmana OpenSSH-server. Jos palvelimeen kirjautuu käyttäjänä, hän ei voi käyttää Linux:in hienoa ominaisuutta eli TAB nappulan automaattista lisäystä (esim. cd /e"TAB" = cd /etc/) vaan TAB nappulasta tulee automaattisesti välejä. Rootilla homma toimii moitteettomasti.

Aikaisemmin minulla ei ole ollut tälläistä ongelmaa.
