Ati radeon vivo asetukset pielessä?

Miten direct rendering päälle ubuntu 6.06:ssa? Korttina Ati Radeon ViVo 64mb (AGP-väylässä, taitaa löytyä nimellä radeon 7200 ATIN ajuriluettelosta, ilmeisesti samat ajurit windows puolella.).

Nuo ohjeet eivät ainakaan toimi. Jos tuon driver "ati" muuttaa driver "fglrx" (ja yms.) on lopputuloksena se, että ei starttaa työpöydälle vaan alkaa herjaamaan x-palvelin ei käynnisty. Hmm.. Jossain taisin huomata jonkun maininnan, ettei fglrx edes toimisi kuin radeon 8500 jälkeisissä korteissa.

Niin, kellään ei ole ideaa, miten tuon DRI:n saa päälle? Kun aika moni sovellus riippuu siitä...

Jossakin on jotain pielessä, kun toi DRI ei starttaa, vaikka sen pitäisi toimia tällä näytönohjaimella, mutta minen löydä syytä itse.

En viitsi enempää käyttää aikaani ongelman ratkomiseen, kun en itse vikaa paikanna.  Sovellukset, jotka vaatii DRI:tä ei starttaa, vaan herjaavat juuri tuon muuttumisesta.
