Eilen tuli uusi 19" TFT (ViewSonic VA902) ja se pitäisi saada toimimaan vanhan 17" CRT:n (Compaq FS740) kanssa Xineramassa. Tällä hetkellä olisi tarjolla kolme eri näytönohjainta; STMicroelectronics STG4000 [3D Prophet Kyro Series], nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX 5500] ja VIA:n emolevyllä integroitu näytönohjain. Näistä tällä hetkellä nVidia puuskuttaa VA902:n kanssa melko mallikkaasti, mutta sen seuraksi pitäisi saada toinen näytönohjain tuolle FS740-näytölle.
Olen kokeillut eri xorg.conf-tiedoston asetuksia, valmiita ja hieman muokattuja. Osalla X ei edes käynnisty ja osalla toimii vain nVidia ja VA902. Tällä hetkellä xorg.conf on seuraava:
