Hardy: apt-get, synaptic eivät toimi (segfault) [RATKAISTU]

En nyt muista mitä kaikkea olen viime aikoina asennellut, mutta ainakin firefox 3.1 betan. Tuossa pari päivää sitten apt ja synaptic lopettivat toimintansa.

synaptic vilahtaa näytössä ja kaatuu sitten

En tiedä onko ongelma sama mutta firefox ei toiminut ollenkaan 2.6.24-21 kernelillä mutta -19:lla toimii.
synaptic ja apt-get segfaulttaavat molemmilla kernel-versioilla.

Mistähän ihmeestä tätä ongelmaa pitäisi lähteä tutkimaan?

Jos edelleen antaa Segmentation Faultia, yritä tyhjentää apt:in paketticache

Onko tuo perusrutiini jo tahkottu?

sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a
Rivi kerrallaan päätteessä, kunnes notkahtaa liikkeelle.

Jos edelleen antaa Segmentation Faultia, yritä tyhjentää apt:in paketticache

sudo rm -f /var/cache/apt/*.bin

Noi updatet ja upgradet eivät auttaneet mutta tuo cache:n .bin:ien tuhoaminen auttoi.
