Riippuu pelistä. Yleensä peleillä on omat komentonsa, millä voi katsoa FPS:t (esim. Quaken pelimoottoria käyttävät pelit toimivat komennoilla /cg_drawfps 1)

Eli pelin komentoriville vaan pistät jonkun pelin komennon, joka näyttää FPS:t. Eri peleillä siis erilaiset komennot. Sama homma toimii myös Winellä ajettaviin Windows- peleihin, mutta näilläkin on siis omat komentonsa. Ainoa ongelma on vain tietää mitä komentoa pitää käyttää.
