TV-Out kuntoon (HP dv6158eu) [ratkaistu]

Moikka taas pitkästä aikaa. Eipä oel tarvinnut enää hirveämmin kysellä, mutta ajattelin nyt kysyä täältä apua iahn varmuuden vuoksi, jottei tule tehtyä mitään hölmöä.

Eli ongelma on, että kun laitan VGA<->VGA piuhan kiinni telkkarista koneeseen niin jostain syystä nvidia settings ei osaa tunnistaa kuin 640x480 resoluution. Myös ongelma on se, että kun resoluutio on noin pieni nii en saa työpöytää mahtumaan tv:n ruutuun. Windowsin puolella pystyy skaalaamaan 1024x768 resoluutioksi.

Tiedän, että pitäisi kaiketi muuttaa hiukan tietoja /etc/X11/xorg.confista, joten tässä nykyinen:

Aah.. Ny hokasin eli sulla on ilmeisemmin kannettava ja käytät kannettavan vga-ulostuloa. Luulin aluksi, että on kyseessä pöytäkone.

Tuo lisää Nvidia twinview määrittelyn ja lisää crt:n oikealle puolelle 1024x768. Esimerkiksi voi myös kloonata saman näytön jolloin TwinviewOrientation muutetaan "clone"ksi , jne...

Huom! Helpoiten noi säädöt pitäisi onnistua suoraan nvidia-settings -ohjelmalla. Ite on vaa tottunu käyttää tekstipohjaista editointia, jolloin saa juuri sitä mitä haluaa  .. Nämäkin ohjeet tulivat ilman testailua, joten toivon mukaan kaikki tarvittavat optiot ovat siinä  . Ota kopio olemassaolevasta ennen kokeilua.

Ajattelin kaivaa tämän naftaliinista kun on sama ongelma edessä.

Eli en ole vähään aikaan käyttänyt nyt TV-out kuvaa ja näköjään päivityksien yhteydessä on myös xorg.conf muuttunut, oikeastaan kokonaan. Ongelma on siis sama kuin ensimmäisessä postissa eli telkkariin ei saa kuin 640x480 resoluutio valikoitten kautta. Telkkari on Samsungin LE40M86 jos tarvitsee tietää. Mutta joo, jos saisin vaan tuon 1024x768 valikkoon niin muuta en taida tarvita. Ellei saa samaa resoluutiota tai parempaa (mutta se on mahdotonta kun tämä on 16:10 ja telkku 16:9, eikö niin?)

Koska se ei toiminut kun kokeilin copypasteta. Tuloksena oli, että jouduin 'nollaamaan' x:n tiedot.

Mutta huoli pois, nyt taas toimii ja aika helpolla selvittiin. Kymmenennellä kerralla sain kohilleen =D
