Geforge 8600GTS,samsung syncmaster 959nf,Logitech Mx-518 optical mouse

Ajattelin laittaa xorg.conffit tänne ubuntu suomen sivulle jos vaikka jotenkin pystyisin joitakin ihmisiä auttamaan.Distro jota nyt käytän on Debian 4.0.2.6.18.686.Kone: fujitsu siemens scaleo t ,Intel pentium 4.
Näyttöni on samsung syncMaster 959nf ja näytön ohjaimeni on Geforge 8600GTS.Hiireni on logitech Mx-518 optical mouse.Käytän tällä hetkellä ajureina 169.04pkg1.run jotka ovat beta-ajurit.myös NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.12-pkg1.run on ihan hyvät ja toimivat ajurit.Tässä olisi sitten ne xorg.conffit.

(kun olet saanut ajurit asennettua etkä pääse muokkaaman resoluutiota niin kirjoita päätteeseen LANG=C nvidia-settings) Ainakin NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.05-pkg1.run
 ajureiden asennuksen jälkeen jouduin LANG=C nvidia settingsin komento päätteelle kirjoittamaan.                       

Ajurin asennus
Lataa vaikka NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.12-pkg1.run ajurit työpöydälle

1.sulje X ctrl+alt+backspace
2.ctrl+alt+F1
3.cd ~ /Desktop
4. sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop                 (gdm tilalla kdm jos kde ympäristö)
5.sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.12-pkg1.run          (esimerkki ajurista,voi olla joku vaihto ehtoinen)
6. vastaa kaikkiin yes
7.kirjoita   startx
nyt pitäis  toimia (jos ei niin asenna pakettien hallinasta paketti   Build-essential ja linux- headers.Linux-headers on minulla 2..6.18.686 .

Nämä ovat toimineet esim Debianin 4.0 suppeassa versiossa, Debianin  Asennus kopiossa.Ubuntu 7.04-7.10 versioissa.Muita distroja en ole kokeillut ja ei ole tarvinnutkaan koska olen ollut erittäin tyytyväinen näihin.Varsinkin Debianin nopeus on tehnyt positiivisen vaikutuksen.
