Tervehdys!
Taannoin näytön ongelmana oli resoluution muuttaminen, se kun oli jämähtänyt 640x480 tilaan, korjaus tilanteeseen tuli kun kirjoitin käsin puuttuvat tiedot xorg.conf:iin eli HorizSync ja VertRefresh arvot. Miksi käyttis ei tunnista ko. arvoja automaattisesti, vaan ne joutuu lisäämään käsin tiedostoon ja sen jälkeen resoluutiot voi vaihtaa mieleiseksi. Toinen näyttöä vaivaa ongelma on sen välkkyminen ja jotkut ohjelmat (esim. google-earth) eivät suostu toimimaan, kun väittävät ettei näytönohjain tue 3D ominaisuuksia. Silloin kun käytin win98, vastaavaa ongelmaa ei ollut, tosin kun asensin win98:n viimeisen kerran ennen nykyistä 6.06 versiota, huomasin näytön olevan huonompi kuin edeltävillä kerroilla. Onko siis vika ajureissa vai kortin "väsymisestä"?
