HP-tulostin lakkasi toimimasta [RATKAISTU]

Aiemmin hyvin toiminut HP PSC 1350 lakkasi toimimasta. Tulosteet jäävät jonoon, eivätkä etene mihinkään. dmesg:n mukaan edes tulostimen kortinlukija toimi. Mistä lähtisin hakemaan vikaa?

Tulostimen ja tietokoneen sammuttamisen jälkeen laite pelasi hetken, kunnes vika tuli takaisin. Mitään muutoksia koneille ei ole vähään aikaan tehty. Koneessa on vielä vanha Edgy 6.10, joka on toiminut luotettavasti.

Irrota ja kytke USB-kaapeli uudelleen molemmissa päissä, kun tulostimesta on virrat pois. Jos ei auta, kokeile tietokoneen päässä kaikkia USB-portteja.

Käytetty sähköt pois kaikista laitteista. Kokeiltu toista USB-porttia. Ei auta. CUPS herjaa yhä tällaista:

"open device failed; will retry in 30 seconds..."

Saman tietokoneen rinnakkaisportissa oleva Kyocera laser sen sijaan jauhaa ihan normaalisti.

Ne tulosteet pitää saada jonosta pois, itselläni sama monitoimilaite ja sama juttu oli joskus - en tosin muista miten ne sai jonosta pois.

Ongelma taisikin jo ratketa. Tulostimelle menevä usb-johto on jatkettu toisella johdolla. Kun otin keskellä olevan liittimen irti ja laitoin takaisin, tulostin alkoi toimia. Jotain kosketusongelmaa siis ilmeisesti ollut.
