Samba ja Webmin Ubuntuun?

Jos asennan Ubuntun niin saanko asennettua Samban ja Webminin tyyliin kilkkaampa tuota, eli ilman mitään komentorivi asetuksia?

Samban ja Webminin saa asennettua komennolla "sudo apt-get install samba webmin" (tai vaihtoehtoisesti käyttämällä Synapticia). Webmin tosin löytyy universestä, joten se pitää ottaa käyttöön ensin.

Webminin käyttöön tarvitaan aluksi rootin salasana, jota ubuntussa ei oletuksena ole. Sen saa asetettua komennolla "sudo passwd root".

Lainaten hitusen tekstiä toiselta käyttäjältä. Eli tässä on kuitenki pikkasen sama ongelma ton paketin löytymisen suhteen. eli tarkista onko sinulla sourses.list tiedostossa noi samat tiedot kuin alla.

Ensinksi sinun täytyy muokata tuota apt-get sources.list jotta saat kyseisen paketin ja muitakin "harvinaisia" paketteja. Eli laitat seuraavat tiedot sources.list

Tälläisillä komennoilla pääset sources.list muokkaamaan eli: sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list_backup
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Kun olet muokannut, niin sitten sudo apt-get update ja sen jälkeen sudo apt-get install sun-j2re1.5 ja paketti löytyy varmasti...
