Tein  tuon ohjeen mukaisesti osion siirron toiselle ssd m2 osiolle (jos tuolla on nyt merkitystä)

Miten luodaan EFI buutti siirretylle osiolle ?  Kohtaan 6 pääsin mutta ohjeen mukaisti tuossa luodaa GPT tyylinen 'laturi' eikä EFI 'laturi' ...

Laitealue / kannettavan hdmi pätkii ulkoisella monitorilla

Käytössä siis uusi läppäri joka on liitetty ulkoiseen monitoriin hdmi kaapelin kautta. Ongelmana on usein toistuva ja epäsäännöllinen hdmi kuvan mustuminen monitorissa

Nvidia driver versio 375.26 ja näytönohjaimena GeForce GTX 980M.  Nähdäkseni vaiva johtuu nimenomaan NVidian ajureista.

Mikä avuksi kuvan käyttäytymiselle ?

Onko näille eli tällä fonttipaketille vaihtoehtoja ? mscorefonts ei ole avoin sanan varsinaisessa mielessä vaan näiden käyttöön liittyy rajoituksia.

Miten ja millä tämän paketit fontit voidaan korvata ?

En voi sille mitään kun selailen eri open source projektien sivuilla ja huomaan että jos projekti käyttää svn versionhallintaa, niin väistämättä tulee mieleen vähän epäuskoinen olo siitä että osaako projekti tehdä edes kunnolla koodaustyötä ... Joo tiedän että olen git fani mutta onhan svn käyttö nykyaikana projekteissa vähän tylsää...

I have now backuped and analyzed my bios. I have the same SATA mode values than you. But unfortunately the change of the value failes in EFI shell (you need a newer one, the old one won't work - only black screen).
I see that the current value is 0x2 -> which means raid mode.
 
Seems that our Bios is locked and encrypted (so no changes wie via EFI shell), their are reports also in other forums and no bios modifications without hardware programmer.
 
So i think we are lost until their is an update from Lenovo, which i think is very unlikley. The don't have added also dvmt settings option which many user are requesting.
 
I think i will send my 900S back. 1300 € for a locked down device is too much.

Jep, Qt:ssa on kaikkia kivaa mutta sen hankala puoli on kallis ja hankala lisenssi joka on vähän rajoittava tekijä ... Mitä vaihtoehtoja on toteuttaa ohjelma Ui karkilla C++:lla ?

Researchers at the University of California, Riverside have identified a weakness in the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) of all Linux operating systems since late 2012 that enables attackers to hijack users’ internet communications completely remotely.

Qian said the researchers have alerted Linux about the vulnerability, which has resulted in patches applied to the latest Linux version. Until then, Qian recommends the following temporary patch that can be applied to both client and server hosts. It simply raises the `challenge ACK limit’ to an extremely large value to make it practically impossible to exploit the side channel. This can be done on Ubuntu, for instance, as follows:

    Open /etc/sysctl.conf, append a command “net.ipv4.tcp_challenge_ack_limit = 999999999”.
    Use “sysctl -p” to update the configuration

Mikä estää asennusohjelmaa kirjoittamasta grubia kovalevyn käynnistyslohkoon ?

kannettava ei ole omassa halussa, kokeilin bootloaderin ja asennusohjelmaa mutta grub ei ole asentunut ja kannettava käynnistyy suoraan W10 puolelle.

BIOS:ssa sekä legacy että security on poissa päältä.

Ubuntu tietokoneissa / Raid infon poistaminen

Elikkä on Ubuntu ja Window7 asennukset eri levyillä mutta Windows7 olevalla levyllä on raid 1 tietoja jotka estävät sen update-grubin suorituksen loppuun pääsemisen joten Windows 7 asennus jää puuttumaan. Onko olemassa keinoa poistaa Raid tiedot ilman formatointia ?

MySQL yhteyden muodostus ei onnistu koska preauth kättely ei onnistu :

Serverin lokiin tulee tämmöistä :

Ilmeisesti WB käyttää vääriä protokollia mutta on mitään keinoa estää tätä clientin päässä ?
