Samsungilla oli jo kokeilussa Bada käyttöjärjestelmä puhelimiin. Se oli kyllä ehkä androidin oloinen mutta keveä. Ilmeisesti sekin kuopattiin kun android valtasi markkinat ja tizen tuli.

Kubuntussa taisi langattomien verkkojen haku toimia niin että kun aukaisee palkista verkkokuvakkeen joka listaa verkkoja. On automatisoitu niin.

If you use Picasa 3.9, you will not be able to connect to your Google account. According to Google employee Brian Rose, the authentication mechanism was changed to OAuth using an implementation that is currently not compatible with Wine.

There is an entry in Wine's AppDB for Picasa 3.9, and I submitted a bug report. As a workaround, install Internet Explorer 6 using Winetricks. You have to use the upstream Winetricks script, since the one packaged in Ubuntu has a broken Internet Explorer link.

Vaihtoehtoiset työpöytäympäristöt / Vs: Voiko Kubuntussa "skannata" wlan verkot uudelleen

Gnomessa kun ottaa täpän pois tuosta langaton käytössä ja laittaa uudelleen se scannaa verkot silloin. Siinä kestää hetken kun verkko löytyy. Toimisiko samalla tavalla?

Asentaminen ja käyttöönotto / Vs: Ongelmia käyttöönotossa.

Aloittele tällä jos et ole vielä ehtinyt:

Ensimmäinen ongelma on tuo salasana. Kokeileppas näin:
Etsi sivupalkin hakutoiminnolla pääte ja kirjoita sinne:

sudo passwd <käyttäjätunnus>

esim.

sudo passwd fincer

minkä jälkeen sulta kysytään ensimmäiseksi nykyistä salasanaasi, ja sen jälkeen uutta salasanaa + varmistusta.

Käynnistysvalikon muokkaaminen jotta xp ei näkyisi tai xp:n poistaminen:
Käynnistystä hoitaa Grub ja xp:n poistaminenkin on mahdollista. Näistä ei minulla ole valitettavasti kokemusta mutta uskon että ohjeita tulee.



Lisäongelma 1 palkin häivytys:

-Järjestelmäasetukset (normipaikasta tai oik. yläkulmasta näyttökuvakkeesta)
-Ulkoasu--toiminta
-käynnistimen automaattinen piilottaminen: päällä (boxi)
-näytä käynnistin hiiren osoittaessa vasenta reunaa(ruksi)
-säädä ilmestymisherkkyys korkeaksi (liukusäädin)

Lisäongelma 2 komentojen antaminen päätteeseen:

Tämä komentorivitila löytyy nimellä pääte (terminal), sinne voidaan syöttää joko kirjoittamalla tai kopioimalla tekstistä komentoja joita toiset antaa. Ota huomioon että jotkin komennot voivat myös rikkoa käyttöjärjestelmän tai ainakin melkoiseen solmuun. Jos luotat komentojen antajaan, esim. tämä foorumi on melko turvallinen niiden suhteen, ei pitäisi olla mitään pelättävää. Lisäksi suosittelen sinulle että opettelet peruskomentoja http://www.ubuntu-fi.org/ubuntu-docs/basic-commands.html
