Laitealue / Vs: usb ei toimi

Itselläni on Acer Aspire 3100 -sarjan läppärin kanssa samanlainen ongelma, eli yksikään USB-porteista ei toimi Ubuntulla, vaikka Windowsilla olivat ihan OK. Tämä tapahtuu kaikilla kokeilemillani USB-laitteilla (tikkuja ja hiiriä). Muualla kerrottu ratkaisu poistaa ehci_hcd-moduli käytöstä ei tässä koneessa toiminut.
