Ubuntu Suomi ja yhteisöt / Vs: Uusi ulkoasu käytössä!

Tuolla palkissa "Ubuntu-yhteisö" > "Keskustelualue", kun taas tuolla RSS jutskassa lukee "keskustelualueet".
Ja mielestäni tää etusivu kaipaa jotain siistiä Web 2.0-kiiltoa ja lasisuutta! Mutta kyllä tähänkin tottuu ajan saatossa.

Olenkohan ainoa, jolla ei ole tuota leveysongelmaa?

Oletko koittanut niinkin yksinkertaista juttua, kuin X-serverin konfigurointiohjelmaa:
komenna päätteessä:

Koodia: [Valitse]

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
Vastaile ohjelman antamiin kysymyksiin, jos et tiedä mitä vastata, anna olla oletusarvolla.
Vaihda ainakin nämä arvot:
Näytön ajuriksi "SIS",
resoluutioksi "1280x800" (välilyönnillä saa halutun resoluution valituksi, enter siirtyy seuraavaan kohtaan)

Tein tämän ja ajattelin tarpeelliseksi käynnistää kone uudestaan, mutta sitten mulla ei toiminutkaan näppiksestä enään muunmuassa i-kirjain ja nyt en pääse kirjautumaan sisään mitä mokasin ja miten tämän saisi korjattua?

Noh, en saanut selkoa siitä. Aloittelija kun vielä olen, niin voisittekohan selittää sen ratkaisun?
Täytyy kai ladata se 855resolution?

En löytänyt mitään SIS(0) logeja. Ja en valitettavasti osaa saksaa.
Sori jos vaivaan kauheesti, täytyy kai sitten koittaa jotain muitakin distroja, jos tätä ei saa korjatuksi.

Moi, tietokoneenani on Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1640 ja juuri hiljattain asentanut Ubuntun.
Osaisittekohan auttaa tässä, kun olen koittanut jo lähes kaikkea mitä nyt olen löytänyt.
1280x768 olen saanut, mutta ottaisin kyllä ilomielin käyttöön vielä ne loput 32 pikseliriviä!
