Asensin tänään Feistyn ja olen koittanut löytää ohjeita näytön asetusten säätämiseen.
Kaikki ohjeet mihin olen törmännyt tuntuvat olevan vanhemmille Ubuntuille eivätkä tuntuneet toimivan Feistyssä.

Asensin Administration-valikosta ATIn restricted driverin, mutta näytön maksimiresoluutioksi annetaan edelleen
1024x768 ja 60Hz. Alkaa tämä välkkyminen särkemään päätä.

Näyttönäni on vanha kökkäre Nokia Valuegraph 447W joka tuki XP:n alaisena maksimissaan 1280x1024 @ 75Hz.

Onkos siis fglrx-ajurit asennettu? Eikös ATI julkaise/ole julkaissut jo open-source-ajurit?

En tiedä minkä niminen ajuri on, mutta System -> Administration -> Restricted Drivers Manager antaa nimeksi vain "ATI accelerated graphics driver".

Noh, nyt ainakin pitäisi olla x.orgin fglrx käytössä. Edelleenkään tosin resoa/virkistystä ei voi nostaa mainitusta.

Apuvaa. Kaveri tulee huomenna käymään, en viittis ryhtyä puolustelemaan Ubuntua 1024x768 resoisena.
Jos joku tietää niin nyt olisi hyvä saada tämä ratkaistua.

Ilmeisesti x.orgin configissa pitäisi jotain touhuta. Minulla se näyttää tältä:
