Mitenkähän saisin Matroxin G550 näytönohjaimen tuottamaan parempaa resoluutiota ja virkistystaajuutta kuin 800x600 @ 60 Hz? Jakeluna koitin Feistyn live-cd:tä. En ole muuta ubuntua vielä koittanut tällä näytönohjaimella, koska sen vasta juuri äsken työnsin koneen sisään.

Sormi on pahasti suussa, mutta arvelin, että xorg.confin sisällöstä voisi olla jotain iloa auttajille. Tässä se on:

Itselläni on sama näytönohjain, valitettavasti digiliitäntä ei toimi.

Siellä on minun xorg.conf, nyt tosin on uusi monitori.

Ongelma ratkaistu. KVG auttoi  ;D

Ongelman aiheutti se, että monitorille ei oltu määritelty virkistystaajuuksia tms. xorg.confissa. Nyt kyseinen tiedostoni näyttää siltä osin tältä (minulla on Nokian 446Xpro):
