Auttakaas hyvät ihmiset tumpeloo, ennenku palaa päreet. Vaihdoin Ubuntun Kubuntuun (puhdas asennus) koska pidän enemmän kde:n sydeemeistä. Ubuntuun Nvidian ajutir menee ihan heittämällä ja vielä toimiikin, mutta miks en saa toimiin Kubuntussa. Näytönohjaimen ajurit on asennettu ihan Wikin ohjeiden mukaan ja ne näyttäis asentuvan ihan ok, mutta kuitenkaan en saa direct renderiä päälle. Glx-info antaa tällasen:

Jos siis on nVidia GLX-ajurit käytössä tulisi xorg.confiin lisätä yksi kohta.
Etsi tämä kohta xorg.confista:

Vaihda kohta "nv" --> "nvidia"
Eli nyt tuon kohdan tulisi näyttää tältä:

Unohtu mainita, että toi ei auta. Ctrl+alt+backspace:n jälkeen kirjaudun tekstitilaan ja komento dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg antaa seuraavat herjat:
xserver-xorg postinst warning; not updating /etc/X11/x; file has been customized
xsever-xorg postinst warning: overwritting possibly customized: configuration file backup in /etc/ pläää pläää pläää
...toisaalla täällä keskustellaan mitä eroa on ubuntulla ja kubuntulla. Voisin hyvin vastata että toinen toimii ja toinen ei

Nvidian kanssa kannattaa käyttää nvidian omaa X.org-työkalua.
sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals
