Kaikkeni olen kokeillut, mutta ei toimi.

alla siis on edgy + kde ja korttina ATI radeon 9600
direct rednerointi pyörii. glxgears näyttää kiitettäviä fps lukuja, mutta 3d kiihdytyksen takia en saa Eve-onlinea toimimaan. alan olla jo epätoivoinen :/.

no pastiellaanpa xorg.conf tähän vaikka jos se edesauttaisi mitään.

voi olla että pari virhettä tuossa, kun nanosta kopioin, mutta pitäisi siinä kaikki silti olla.

Ööh tuota tuota, onkos tämä Eve Online ihan native linux peli vai pyöritätkö sitä jollain cedegalla yms? Ja tuota fglrx ajuri mie en oikein ymmärrä, miksi se jättää tuon ati ajurin kohdan tuonne ja se näyttäisi olevan käytössä vielä screen osiossakin, mutta silti sinulla näyttää 3d -toimivan. Kokeile asentaa jokin native 3d-peli tai 3d näytöntuhooja(säästäjä), vaikka planetpenguin-racer: sudo apt-get install planetpenguin-racer.

ei ole natiivi linux peli. winellä ja cedegalla tullu testattua tuloksetta. mutta ympäri nettiä olen löytänyt juttua, että pitäisi toimia. Hyvinhän pingviini racer toimi. eli olisiko vika cedegaess/jossain muualla. kun sen testit valittavat 3d kiihdytyksen puutteesta ja jumittaa koko koneen kun yritän eve:ä käynnistää :/

Heh sanoisin että aika varmasti johtuu siitä. Cedegasta itselläni ei ole kokemusta ja mitä winellä olen pelejä pelaillut, niin ne tuntuvat hieman raskaammilta mitä toosassa vastaavat(ok graffat kyllä pyörii siten miten toosassa mutta ilman kunnollista äänikorttia äänet ovat ongelma vähän joka pelissä). Eve online näyttäis olevan winen appdb ihan hopea tason softaa, jossa kaikkien pitäisi toimia. Olet varmaan lukenut noita kommentteja (http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iVersionId=6278) asennellessasi. Siellä näyttäis olevan ohjeetkin jopa edgylle, tosin nvidian ohjaimella varustetulle.
