Hei! Olen ensikertalainen Linux-käyttäjä, mutta paljon on tullut tässä parissa päivässä tehtyä.
Voisiko joku kertoa alusta asti miten saan 2 näyttöä toimimaan Kubuntussa (Dapper) niin, että työpöytä jatkuu toiselle?
1. Näyttö HP f2105 (1680x1050)
2. AG Neovo f419 (1280x1024)
Molemmat näytöt DVI:llä liitettynä nVidia-PCI-E-näytönohjaimeen.

Ps, voisiko luoda yhden alueen minne saisi laittaa toimivat xorg.gonf:it ja pienet selitykset niistä, niin ei tarvitsisi selata montaa päivää ehtimässä ratkaisuja

Muutin config-tiedostoa. Kubuntun lataus tulee näkymään molemmille näytöille, mutta latauskohdan jälkeen se jumittuu uuteen latauspalkkiin, joka ei edes aloita lataamistaan minuuttienkaan jälkeen. Koodissa oli siis vikaa. Miten korjata asia?

Kun sinulla on kerta nvidia, asenna nvidian omat ajurit(nvidia-glx (http://easylinux.info/wiki/Ubuntu_dapper#How_to_install_Graphics_Driver_.28NVIDIA.29), jos käytössäsi on uudempi kuin gf2 ti, muuten käytä nvidia-glx-legacy) ja käytä nvidia twinviewiä (http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=175&p_created=1101836633&p_sid=THNl-5ii&p_lva=174&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9NjAmcF9wcm9kcz0wJnBfY2F0cz0wJnBfcHY9JnBfY3Y9JnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9YW5zd2Vycy5zZWFyY2hfZm5sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9dHdpbnZpZXcgY29uZmlndXJpbmc*&p_li=&p_topview=1). Tuolla (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=2385735) on malliksi jonkun säätämää tuplanäyttöä, mutta älä vain kopsaa suoraan vaan katso ja yritä tajuta mitä säätöjä pitää tehdä.
