Toissapäivänä aennettu Ubuntu Dapper, jälkiasennettu Opera ja Easy Ubuntulla muut paitsi näyttiksen ajurit. Nyt yläreunassa vilkkuu tähti, pitäisi siis päivittää. Ei onnistu Synacticilla, yritin ohjeen mukaan apt- get:llä

Miltä näyttää tiedostosi /etc/apt/sources.list? Komenna
sudo apt-get --purge remove libmjpegtools0 ja sitten sudo apt-get clean ja sitten taas sudo apt-get install libmjpegtools0 jos toimisi

Ei auttanut Vililikkun ohjeet, mutta kun
1: Poistettiin siitä aptin sources- listasta tämä Debian- rivi.
2: sudo apt-get update
3:sudo apt-get upgrade
Tuloksena:

Itselläni taasen on semmoinen onkelma, että kun yritän päivittää kerneliä uudempaan, niin se ei onnistu.

sudo apt-get remove linux-image-2.6.15-23-386se vain sanoi, että koko pakettia ei ole asennettu.

Kyllä, mutta se alkukuva, mikä tulee kun se käynnistelee systeemiä, on ubuntun, kun nyt se on kubuntun (asensin tän joskus kubuntun 5.x levyltä) ja siinä ei toimi näppis eikä hiiri.
