Asensimpa äsken ubuntu 13.10:n joulukuussa hankittuun Asuksen kannettavaan (X502CA) ja nyt on aiheen mukainen ongelma, steam ei tunnista näytönohjainta. Onko täällä ketään joka olisi kys. ongelman kanssa paininut aiemmin ja miten asian saisi ratkeamaan? Koneessa on intellin hd graphics 4000 näytönohjain ja intellin ajurit on asennettu sillä intellin omalla ohjelmalla.

Tunnistuuko näytönohjain, jos käytät jakelun mukana tulevia ajureita?

kuinkas alkuperäisten ajurien käyttö onnistuu nykyään, poistanko vain sen intellin ohjelman?

- Onko sinulla 64 bittinen asennus ? Ja onko sinulla 32 bittiset kirjastot asennenttuna koneellesi?

If you dont see anything in `/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/`, install them with:

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-multiarch

64bittinen löytyy. Koitin asentaa tuolla ohjeella olevaa pakettia mutta sellaista pakettia ei löydy.

sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-multiarch

Sinun täytynee asentaa tarvittavat 32-bittiset paketit manuaalisesti, yksi kerrallaan.

Jos Portal 2 ei käynnisty, niin oletko valinnut betan sieltä pelin steam asetuksista? Jos beta valittu niin Steamin pelilistassa lukee "Portal 2 (Beta) [Beta]". Itselle tulee noita samoja virheitä mutta kaikki toimii silti.

Kappas. Lähti pelittään. Siis kun asensin intellin ajurit uudelleen ja otin tuon beta -kohdan käyttöön portal kakkosessa. Nytpähän pääsenkin sitten testailemaan kunnolla :)
