olen yrittänyt asentaa noita scandeja toimimaan (http://arska.org/finnish-howto/html/ tämän ohjeen avulla) mutta tuloksena on se että  scandit toimivat irssissä eli "ä" on ä ja "ö" on ö.  8)

/etc/environment tiedoston sisältö:

LANG=C
LC_CTYPE=fi_FI@euro
LC_PAPER=fi_FI@euro
LESSCHARSET=latin1

Mutta jos apt-get install <paketin nimi> asentaa jotain(tässä tapauksessa meni php4) tulee tämmöinen virhe ilmoitus paketti kuitenki asentui mutta jossain on silti vikaa? ???

kopipasteroi tänne locale komennon palaute, pliis! ;)
ehkä joku sitten helpommin osaa auttaa.
Minulla ainakin lukee lang-kohdassa näin, LANG=en_US.UTF-8 koska uljas Ubuntuni puhuu ameriikkaa.
mistä piipistä lie arska vetäissyt tuon LANG=C ??

PATH=tässä on polku, jonka poistin koska minun polkuni ei teille kuulu mitään!

edit, joo jos kerran /etc/enviroment tiedoston sisältö on sinulla tuollainen kokonaisuudessaan, niin solloin PATH, määritys puuttuu siitä (HYI arska!) :) Lisääpäs tämä sinne:

jouduin paljastamaan polkuni.  ::)

Jotenkin musta tuntuu toi kde bugittaa ton apt-get kanssa mutta sitä ei ole edes asennettu tähän(enkä asenna viimeksi meni äänet solmuun sen takia).
