Saako hieman hieraista pilkkua? Sudo -komentoa tai root-oikeuksia ei tarvita wget/tar/cd komennoissa, eikä taida olla tarpeen edes make kääntämisessäkään.

Kokeilin! Sudoa ei tosiaan tarvitse ollenkaan. Graafisen testimokkulan jätin kääntämättä, kun herjasi jonkin tiedoston puuttuvan enkä viitsinyt perehtyä asiaan. Sitä ei kuitenkaan tarvitse tuohon "perustestiin" (eli pelkkä ./Run ilman parametreja). Testi kesti aika kauan, kun se ajaa näköjään testit moniydinprossulla kahteen kertaan, ensin yhdellä ytimellä ja sitten kaikilla.
Ilmoitti "System Benchmarks Index Score": 1640.2. Kone on HP dc7700, cpu E6400, 4Gt ram ja maverick 64-bittinen.

Kiitos. Pääsin pykälää pidemmälle tuolla paketilla ja sen mukanaan tuomilla kymmenellä muulla paketilla.

Piti asentaa libx11-dev, libgl1-mesa-dev ja libxext-dev että sain sen käännettyä. Grafiikkahommat voi myös jättää pois kommentoimalla tähän liittyvän rivin Makefile tiedostosta:

No nyt kääntyi, kun asensi vielä paketit libgl1-mesa-dev ja libxext-dev. Kiitos Retu.
