Terve!!! Asensin Ubuntun HP:n TouchSmart IQ 820:seen ja toimii, paitsi että Google-earth ei :(
Antaa tallaisen raportin terminaalissa:

Ja kyllä... olen antanut kaikille google-earth hakemiston osille luvan toimina ohjelmana.

Onko vinkkejä, mistä kenkä puristaa?

Minullakin sellainen ongelma Ubuntu 10.04, 32 bittisessa.

Muistakseni kyse on GE:n bugista koskien "tips" vinkkeja, jotka avautuvat heti GE:n käynnistyksessä.
Löydä kotihakemistosta .config/Google/GoogleEarthPlus.conf tiedoston (ctrl+h näyttää piilotiedostot) ja muokkaa riviä enableTips antamalla arvon false
