I have a problem.

I modified my screen´s resolution.
Now my screen show "Out of screen" and I don't see pictures.
How can I return my resolution back?
I tried to restart my computer and do something, but I don´t get my right resolution back.

Can you help me.

operating system: Ubuntu 8.10 (modifed edition) My own modified edition
Video card. Nvidia geforce 6600
Screen. LG Flatron 1717S

Start Ubuntu recovery mode, and try to fix xorg.
