Koitin asentaa ubuntun 8.04 server ympäristöön myphpadminia.

sudo apt-get install myphpadmin
tuo tuntui sekoittaneen apt-getin ja aptituden, koska nyt

Ei apt-get ja aptitude sekoile keskenään. Tuo näyttää siltä että verkkopiuha on irti tai internet yhteyttä ei yksinkertaisesti ole.

Toivottavasti vika on näin yksinkertainen. :)

verkkoyhteys kuitenkin toimii pääsen palvelimeen käsiksi http:llä ja ssh:lla.
palvelin vastaa myös webmin pyyntöön.

Tuosta tuli mieleen mitä porttia ja protokollaa apt-get ja aptitude käyttää? (saatoin laittaa palomuurin liian tiukalle).
