Mistähän mahtaa johtua että skype 2.0 kaatuu, kun käynnistää kameran?  ???
Tietokone on kyllä aika vanha. Eli pitääkö hommata uusi kone vai saako tämänkin toimimaan?

Suoritin.   AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Muisti.   2.0 Gt
Käytettävissä oleva levytila.  51.0 Gt
Näytönohjain.  NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX Series

Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy)
Kernel Linux 2.6.22-14-generic
GNOME 2.20.0

Mitenkäs tuo kyseinen tuloste saadaan haettua? Kun olen aika uusi Linuxin käyttäjä. ;D

Pääte sanoo näin.

Lisätään viellä että skype toimi noin 2 minuuttia ennen kaatumista. Pientä nykimistä kuvassa ja äänessä.

Toimiiko kamera muuten?

esim. canorama (tjs) voi olla hyvä ohjelma testaamiseen

Kiitos vinkistä. Kamera tuntuu kyllä muuten pelittävän.
Kamera toimii myöskin, Skypen  video devices testissä moitteettomasti.
Soittaessa edelleen kaatumis ongelmia
