Kyllä minulla ainakin on Paypalissa Sampon Visa Electron toimii ja sillä maksoin. On vaan vissiin vähän pankkikohtaista nuo electronit ulkomaan maksussa. Yhdelle kaverille esimerkiksi ilmoitettiin, ettei pankki (nimeä en muista) tue Paypalia ja muita vastaavia palveluita eikä ne täten toimi.

Joo, Electronilla voi tosiaan yleensä ostaa, mutta ei ole luottoa. Rahat varataan suoraan tililtä kun tilaus on hyväksytty, joskin tosin kestää päivä jos kauppa tekee varauksen manuaalisesti.

Senttilinjalla jatketaan: Ostin aiemmin World of Goo -pelin sentillä ja nyt koko paketin sentillä. Lopullinen hintalappu 2 senttiä eli 0,4 senttiä per peli.

Pitihän tuo ostaa näin viime hetkillä (ilmeisesti), jos vaikka päästäisiin 1 000 000 $ summaan ja saataisiin kolmet lähdekoodit (Gish, Penumbra ja Lugaru). Käytin 3$, eli en kovin paljoa kuitenkaan, kahdessa osassa. Yksi itselleni ja yksi veljelle, vaikka nyt samalla saisikin asentaa kaikkiin koneisiin.

Olikin näköjään neljät koodit eli Aquaria, Penumbra, Lugaru ja Gish. Näistä kivoin on tietysti viimeinen, jonka tahtosin myös kännykkään (jos vaan onnistuu). :D Ainut josta eivät julkaiseet koodeja olikin sitten World of Goo, mikä tuntuu ihan loogiselta-
Huomaa: Noita muitakaan ei pääse ihan miten vaan pelailemaan siltikään, vaan peli itsessään ei ole GPL:ää, vaikka moottorit ja muut ovat (AFAIK).

Ostin pelit 4 dollarilla koska olivat aivan tuntemattomia. Ubuntu 10.04.1 AMD64 ja 2.6.32-27 kernel. Ensitestit ja pelasin viisi minuuttia. Luulen että kaikki pelit toimii i386 ilman ongelmia.
Revenge of the TItans
Täytyi tehdä revengeofthetitans -kansio käsin /opt, niin peli asentui. Tower defence (http://www.google.fi/#q=tower+defence&hl=fi) tyyppinen peli ja vaikuttaa aivan hyvältä.
Osmos
Palloa täytyy ohjata ja syödä pienempiä palloja. Ohjaus hiirellä fysiikan lakien mukaisesti. Vaikuttaa hyvältä
Machinarium
Seikkailupeli. Flash -pohjainen joten oli ongelmia. Aina kun kursori vaihtui nuolesta toiseksi (kysymysmerkki tms), hiiren liike ruudulla hidastui sadasosaan ja tuli sekunteja perässä ohjauksesta. Harmillista sillä peli näyttää aivan mielettömän hyvältä.

Tänään illalla Suomen aikaa tulee linuxille Cortex Commandista uusi versio jossa viat on korjattu.

Kivastihan nuo ovat tuolla rahaa keränneet. Minusta tuo kannattaa osta mihin hyvänsä (siis siihen minkä pystyy maksamaan) hintaan jo senkin takia, että ei sitten kaduta kun ei tullut ostaneeksi. Tarjouksen aika on kuitenkin rajallinen. Ja saahan tuosta vielä (3 pv aikaa) edullisen joululahjankin. ;)
Muokkaus: Latasin uudestaan Cortex Commandin ja nyt näyttäisi ainakin käynnistyvät (amd64-versio). Samoin Revenge of the Titansin kohdalla.

Minusta tuo kannattaa osta mihin hyvänsä (siis siihen minkä pystyy maksamaan) hintaan jo senkin takia, että ei sitten kaduta kun ei tullut ostaneeksi.

Samoin Braid on nyt korjattu ja 64-bit toimii suoraan. Latailkaa uudelleen.

Machinarium vaikutti demon perusteella ostamisen arvoiselta tekeleeltä (flashin käyttö tosin ikävä "kauneusvirhe"), joten lahjoitin sitten kyseisen pelin hinnan verran oletusjakosuhteella. Osmos ja Revenge of the Titans ovat vaikuttaneet myöskin ihan viihdyttäviltä peleiltä, mutta tuskin kuitenkaan olisivat ostoskoriin eksyneet ilman tätä tarjousta. Cortex Command on vielä testaamatta ja Braid tuli pelattua PS3:lla jo aika tasan vuosi sitten, loistava peli!
Kaikki joita nuo pelit yhtään kiinnostavat, ostamaan mars! Ja pitäkäähän lahjoitussummat sellaisina, että muiden käyttöjärjestelmien käyttäjät pysyvät siellä jossain takana. Hyvä välillä hälventää ennakkoluuloja, ettei Linuxille kannata julkaista mitään kun sen käyttäjät eivät kuitenkaan suostu maksamaan mistään.

Maksoin 15 dollaria. Braidia on aiemmin tullut pelattua ja sehän on hieno peli. Machinariumin demo tuli aikoinaan pelattua ja soundtrack menee heti kuunteluun. Osmosista luin joskus ja se näyttää hienolta, toivottavasti myös tuntuu siltä. Cortex Command ja Revenge of the Titans ovatkin sitten ihan uusia tuttavuuksia.
Tämä sunnuntai kuluukin sitten rattoisasti pelaillen.

En ole edellisiäkään pelannut, mutta kannatuksen vuoksi pistin taas parikymmentä taalaa hyvän asian puolesta.

Jo periaattesta piti heittää parikymppiä. Pelien pakkaaminen deb-tiedostoiksi olisi ollut mukavaa, nyt vain And Yet It Movesin sai sellaisena.

Aika turha tuo uusi bundle, kun vaan yksi peli, eikä sekään vaikuta hirveän kummoiselta. Kelpaa lähinnä, jos ei saanut tuota Frozenbyte Bundlea aikanaan, jolloin toki pitää maksaakin vähän (vanhan bundlen saa, jos maksaa ainakin keskiarvon). Kuitenkin ostan, mutta summa jää edellistä pienemmäksi ihan yleisen arvon takia.
Oletteko muuten huomanneet, että näyttäisi noissa bundleissa olevan mahdollisuus korottaa osuuttaan oston jälkeen? Eli jos bundle onkin oston jälkeen todettu paremmaksi kuin luuli, niin voi antaa vähän lisääkin (halutessaan tietty).

Nyt on Voxatron nimisen räiskintäpelin alphaversio (ostamalla saa luonnollisesti tulevat julkaisut jos/kun ne ilmestyvät) tarjolla vapaasti määriteltävään hintaan. Pelistä en ole koskaan kuullutkaan, mutta pistin kuitenkin jokusen taalan taas kampanjaan. Pitää kokeilla piakkoin, onko tekele mistään kotoisin.
Muita pelejä ei vielä "bundlessa" ole, mutta eiköhän jotain ilmaannu lähipäivinä.

Voxatron on mukavaa ajanvietettä. Ilahduttavaa myös nähdä välillä pelejä, joiden takia ei tarvitse ladata gigatavujen edestä asennustiedostoja. Voxatronin deb-tiedosto on kooltaan vain 2,5 Mt.

Enpä saanut asennettua Samsungin Galaxy 5:een (GT-I5500) noista peleistä mitään (en ole varma kokeilinko jo ihan kaikkia). Ilmoitti aina että

Mites tuo HumbleBundle käytännössä toimii? Makselen Paypalilla rahaa ja saan jonkinlaisen koodin, jolla pääsen nuo pelit sitten lataamaan?
Mutta entäs jos hankin nuo Ubuntun sovellusvalikoiman kautta, asentelen ja päivänä X joudun tekemään puhtaan asennuksen.. Voinko asentaa nuo pelit uudelleen Sovellusvalikoiman kautta samaisella koodilla, vai onko ne sitten sitä myötä menneet?
Eipä tuo nyt montaa euroa maksa kokeilla, mutta toisaalta, jos voin pelata kyseisiä pelejä vain yhdellä asennuksella niin voi meikäläisen tapauksessa olla hukkaan heitettyjä euroja nekin kun on kuitenkin enemmän sääntö kuin poikkeus, että jossain vaiheessa saan järjestelmän niin sekaisin, että joutuu puhtaan asennuksen tekemään ;D
Onhan se sääli sitten, jos on johonkin peliin tykästynyt ja ehtinyt tahkota pitkällekkin ja loppuviimeksi joutuu ostamaan saman pelin vielä toistamiseen täydellä hinnalla ja aloittamaan kaiken alusta.. :-\
Tietysti jos nuo pelit tekevät omat hakemistonsa jotka voi helposti kopioida tikulle ja liittää uuteen asennukseen, (ja ne pelit toimivatkin vielä sen jälkeen) niin sitten nou hätä.

Anteeksi, Strock, mutta HumbeIndieBundle tarjoaa itse vaihtoehtoa ladata nuo kyseiset pelit täysin laillisesti bittorrent-protokollaa hyödyntäen, joten en ymmärrä miten tiedonsiirtoprotokolla (jota itse pelejä myyvä taho tarjoaa pelien lataamiseen) rinnastetaan suoraan laittomuuksiin/harmaalle alueelle. Onhan Ubuntun levykuvatkin saatavilla torrenttina - täysin laillisesti...

Kokeilin klikata tuota "Download for Ubuntu" tuolta henkilökohtaiselta lataus-sivultani, tämä vei minut Ubuntu-kirjautumissivulle. Eli ilmeisesti luodaan tunnus (ellei ole jo Launchpad-tunnusta, jota voi käyttää), johon ostoksesi sitten sidotaan.

Juurikin näin. Voi siis asentaa silläkin tavalla kaikille haluamilleen koneille, joissa pyörii riittävän tuore Ubuntu. Toki ne voi asentaa sittenkin perinteisemmin ja itse ainakin olen säilönyt vähintään yhden kopion noista peleistä, varsinkin kun hitaan kaistan päässä asun.
Älytöntä tuossa Ubuntun softakaupan kautta asentamisessa vaan oli se, ettei se osannut jatkaa keskeytynyttä latausta. Itselläni oli Amnesiasta muutama sata megaa ladattuna ja sitten huomasin, että kone oli mennyt nukkumaan. Herätettyäni koneen se aloitti lataamisen uudestaan.
